Little Bighorn National Monument

The Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument preserves the site of the Battle of the Little Bighorn, which took place on June 25 and 26, 1876. It also serves as a memorial to those who fought in the battle: Custer's 7th Cavalry and a combined Lakota-Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho force. The Custer National Cemetery, on the battlefield, is part of the national monument.

The area is reputed to be haunted, and to some this may be no surprise. There are those who believe such trauma and bloodshed give rise to such phenomena. Whatever you believe, witnesses have reported various effects at multiple points at this site. Locations range from the open land to buildings constructed here.

Apparitions of both US Cavalry and Indians have been sighted both outside and in buildings. Witnesses have reported kinetic effects, such as door knobs turning and lights turning on by themselves in premises here.

The sounds of chilling screams and footsteps have also been reported. One witness reported being touched by a "clammy hand"
